Meet the team
I joined Platinum Partnership Solicitors in September 2013 as a trainee solicitor and began work in the personal injury and the conveyance departments.
I currently specialise in road traffic accident claims and in particular those that run through the MOJ portal which is an online system for claims between £1,000 and £25,000.
My biggest challenge with this type of work is the Jackson reforms which have caused costs in such cases to be significantly slashed. As a result I am working hard with colleagues to ensure I work more efficiently and deal with cases whilst maintaining care and quality that clients have come to expect from this reputable firm.
I am excited about my work because I am committed to ensuring clients continue to receive the compensation they deserve despite the negative press which whiplash claims attract.
Mt aspirations within the firm are to broaden my knowledge and expertise so that I can become more versatile and take on work from a wider spectrum. I would like to gradually develop specialism in Industrial Deafness Work and Clinical negligence work as I find these areas interesting and would like to broaden my knowledge.
Experience at Platinum Partnership Solicitors
I find all the colleagues at the practice extremely friendly and approachable. Whilst maintaining a strict approach to work they all have a great sense of humour and make it possible for clients to interact with them with ease.
I studied at Belle Vue School gaining 12 GCSEs and A levels in history, government and politics and Biology.
I then went on to complete my LLB Honours in Law as well as my Legal Practice Course at Leeds Metropolitan University.
